Sammy demonstrated Lex, an AI tool focused on improving writing quality rather than replacing the writer. He showcased how Lex uses existing content (via folder access, URL importing) to understand your writing style. Sammy demonstrated voice-to-text capabilities that allow you to speak ideas that get transformed into structured content. He showed how Lex can provide inline editing suggestions that maintain context of the full document and revealed Substack URL import functionality to maintain consistent voice in newsletter writing.

Sammy distinguished Lex from other AI writing tools by explaining how it acts as a supportive partner rather than a replacement, focusing on the parts of writing humans find difficult or tedious while preserving the creative aspects humans enjoy. He also demonstrated how Lex allows users to select different LLMs depending on the writing task.
