In this presentation, Stacker’s Amanda Milligan explains the difference between topical and tangential content. This is a cool way to think about the purpose of each piece of content you create. Are you building your brand awareness? Or trying to convert a new SQL? Not all teams think carefully about this, which makes tracking almost impossible. If you don’t know the purpose of each piece, you can’t really measure it.
